Terms & Conditions

Cancellations and reschedules

If your travel plans change, we will be happy to reschedule or give you a refund on the tour. If you need to change your reservation in advance, please contact us by email or, if you need to reschedule with short notice, e.g. within 24 hours of your tour, please let us know by calling +354 666 8006 We accept cancellations 48 hours of your scheduled tour but reserve the right to charge your reservation should cancellations be made with shorter notice.  All outdoor activities are dependent on weather conditions and, in cases of glacial lagoons, also on the ice in the lagoon. Weather can change quickly in Iceland, which may result in winds being too strong for boat tours. Furthermore, the lagoon can be packed with ice, making it impossible to sail. Fortunately, the wind is rarely too strong in the summer and the ice almost never blocks the tours. In the unlikely event of tours being delayed or cancelled due to whether or ice conditions we offer a full refund on the tour and are happy to reschedule if desired by the customer.

Assumed Risk

Outdoor activities, such as iceberg tours, involve an inherent risk and individuals must accept proper responsibility for their own actions. Accordingly, the company does not assume any responsibility for accidents that are caused by its guests, accidents that can be traced to the actions of guests or are caused by factors outside of human control (Force Majeure). The company is not responsible for any property damages occurring during, before or after boat tours. Please inform your guide about diseases or injuries that could affect you in any way during the tour. The company reserves the right to cancel tours if guides consider passengers unable to participate.
