I’m writing this about 1.5 weeks after we did this tour, and now at the end of our trip, I can say this was one of the highlights. I read about Fjallsarlon as the quieter and smaller brother of Jokulsarlon, so we decided to do the zodiac tour here. We had been close to glaciers before, but never on a boat on a glacial lake. I can now say that that experience is VERY different from looking at it from the shore. It was amazing to float in the zodiac in between the icebergs and quite close to the glacier.
