When visiting in April you need to plan your itinerary, activities and tours well as many tour operators have limited or no tours available.
It can be disappointing when visiting a country only to find out later that some activity you planned to do is not available at that time of the year. At Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon for example they only start operating boat tours in May. Although tour operation can on rare occasions be challenging early in the season due to weather, we strive to provide guests with the best service we can offer.
At Fjallsárlón iceberg boat tours we offer adventure boat tours from the beginning of April every year or even in late March depending on the status of the lagoon. We operate an ice cave tour from the beginning of November until the 15th of April.
