You can bring your camera with you. We want you to capture the moment and your memories on film. We would like to ask our guest to bear in mind that we are sailing on water so be careful not to drop the camera in the lagoon and be cautious if the weather is not so good. For safety reasons, we don’t allow drones on normal tours.
We provide you with a warm flotation jacket and a life vest. Other clothes we ask you to bring yourself. The weather in Iceland can change rapidly so one minute it can be sunny and the next raining. So having gear like rain pants with you is always a good idea, although you might not need it.
Yes, there are toilets on the location where you get ready for the tour. There is a 5-10 minute walk to the boats so please use the washrooms before we start the tour.
We ask our guest to arrive few minutes before the scheduled time of the tour. That time gives us a chance to check you in and get you ready in your gear. From the parking area, you will see a few wood-paneled buildings. The reception for the boat tours is located in on of the smaller buildings.
We advise people to book in advance to ensure that you get a seat reserved at your preferred time. However, we have frequent tours so there is a good chance of space being available. Just give us a call if you are on the way or drop by and simple just ask us.
Yes, you can depend on availability. Just send us an email on info@fjallsarlon.is and give us your reservation number and note what changes you would like to make. Please make sure you do this 24 hours prior the scheduled tour.
