During winter months Fjallsarlon freezes over with a thick ice sheet covering the lagoon all the way from the coast to the glacier. This enables us to place the Igloo Boats closer than ever to Fjallsjokull’s glacier wall.
Last summer we had the most amazing project when we hosted our very first wedding on our secret island located close to the glacier’s edge. On a beautiful autumn day in September 2015 Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol came to Fjallsarlon lagoon to film a part of the music video Gerua. Fjallsarlon lagoon with it´s floating icebergs was chosen due to the picturesque landscape and unique setting.
