Ice Floating Experience in Iceland
Tour description
The tour
The Ice Floating Iceland Experience is the first of it’s kind in Iceland. Step into a world of serenity at Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where stillness meets adventure. Dressed in a special immersion suit, you’ll float safely and comfortably among drifting icebergs, surrounded by the majestic outlet glacier of Vatnajökull National Park.
This unique floating experience is more than just an activity, it’s a moment of weightless calm, a chance to disconnect and reset both body and mind. Feel the rhythm of the icy water, breathe in the pure glacier air, and let the peaceful surroundings work their quiet magic.
What to Expect
Your adventure begins at our boathouse by Fjallsárlón, where your guide will greet you and help you into your thermal immersion suit. A short walk takes us down to the lagoon, where you’ll receive a safety briefing before gently entering the water.
You’ll experience the incredible sensation of floating among icebergs, safely supervised by your professional guide. Afterward, we’ll return to the boathouse to warm up and enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate or warm tea at our cozy Frost Restaurant.
