Cancellations and reschedules

Cancellations, reschedules and refunds
If your travel plans change, we are happy to reschedule or give you a full refund for the tour.

Cancellations due to weather
All outdoor activities are pendent on weather conditions, in Iceland the weather can change quite quickly. In the unlikely event of tours being delayed or cancelled due to weather or ice conditions we offer a full refund. Please note that we would also be happy to reschedule your tour.

Boat Tours and Glacier Tours refunds
Cancellations made 60 days or more before your scheduled tour will be refunded in full.
A cancellation fee of 5% is charged if cancelled 60 days or less before the scheduled tour.
Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable, we can however reschedule your tour.

If you need to change your reservation more than 48 hours prior to the tour, please contact us by email info@fjallsarlon.is
If you need to reschedule with short notice, within 24 hours of your tour, please call +354 666 8006.

Overnight Adventure Cancellation
Cancellations made 2 weeks or more before your scheduled tour will be refunded in full. Cancellations made within 2 weeks are non-refundable.

Acknowledgment of risk

Engaging in outdoor activities, such as iceberg boat tours, ice cave tours or glacier hikes inherently involves risk, and individuals must take proper responsibility for their actions. Consequently, the company does not assume any responsibility for accidents caused by guests, accidents linked to guest actions, or incidents arising from factors beyond human control (Force Majeure). The company is not liable for any damage to personal belongings that occurs before, during or after tours. Please inform your guide of any illnesses or injuries that could affect you during the tour. The company reserves the right to cancel tours if guides deem passengers unfit to participate.

Booking

The tour contract is subject to Icelandic law only. By reserving a tour with the company, you accept these terms and conditions, understand their implications and accept responsibility for your participation on the tour.
