The age limit for this tour is 14 years old. If you have younger children in your group, we can offer a private tour experience. For more information, please contact us directly. Please note that in the unlikely event that conditions on Fjallsjökull glacier are not favourable, we may need to change the glacier hike to a different outlet glacier close by. In that case, the boat tour and the glacier hike will be done on separate occasions during the day. All activities start and end at the Fjallsárlón Tour Reception, no extra driving, no transfers, no hassle. Please note that there is a short hike each way to and from the glacier, as well as hiking on the glacier. The hike is on an uneven surface as well as on a glacier. If you have a hard time walking, or have underlying health issues that may cause fatigue, this might not be the best tour for you. Our guides will ask basic questions and evaluate each guest’s health condition before heading out. If our guide is in doubt that a person will be able to take part in the tour, we reserve the right to not allow that person to take part due to health risks.
